2012 The Party for Queensland Independence is formed.
2013 The High Court of Australia declares Secession illegal in Australia. The Parliament of Australia soon passes the Unity Act of 2013.
2014 The Party for Queensland Independence wins a minority government in the Legislature.
2015 The Government of Queensland declares a Referendum on Independence on October 1st. 72% vote to stay in Australia.
2016 The Party for Queensland Independence losses its minority government. It becomes the second largest party in Queensland.
2017 The Australian Government holds a referendum on becoming a Republic. 51% vote Yes and 49% vote No.
2018 The Prime Minister meets with the Premiers on a new Australian Constitution. The Premier of Queensland rejects the new Constitution.
2019 The PQI (Party for Queensland Independence) wins the Queensland general elections, with 55% of the vote. They form a majority government.
2020 The New Australian Constitution comes into effect. The Government of Queensland declares a Referendum for next year.
2021 On June 24th, 2021, 53% of Queensland voters vote for Independence. The Question was "Do you support Queensland becoming an Independent country?".
2022 The Australian Government, after talks with the Government of Queensland, declares it will accept the results of the Referendum and allow Queensland to seperate.
2023 Queensland seperates from the Australian Federation and becomes the Republic of Queensland.
