Boise is a mid sized urban center at the south-western edge of the Salish-Shidhe Council. Situated on the Salish borders with Tir Tairngire, the Pueblo Corporate Council, and the Sioux Nation, it has gained some notoriety as a smuggler's haven (mainly due to its proximity to Denver) and is noted for the presence of a large Salish-Shidhe military base occupying the former UCAS Gowen Field Airbase.

Boise itself is a split city, occupied by Tir Tairngire, Salish-Shidhe, and Pueblo Corporate Council forces.

Meanwhile the poorest part of the Seattle district Auburn is also called Boise.

The only turbulence near Boise in the recent past was a Tir Tairngire border raid in the late 2060's.
