Founded by Hans Dechant during the Euro Wars, today MediaSim is Austria's prime media corporation, publishing (among other products) Krone, one of the world's best-selling newspapers.
After staying independent for decades despite numerous buyout offers by various corporations including Saeder-Krupp Dechant sold MediaSim to Mitsuhama in 2058, surprising and shocking the whole country.
