Microdeck is a corporation headquartered in Seattle, UCAS. It rose to prominence in the software industry in the last decade of the 20th Century. After the Crash of 2029, it ironically recovered a leading position only on the hardware market, where its lines of products were previously limited to minor peripherals such as mouses, keyboards, and joysticks.

Ever since its incorporation, the company remains under the control of the founding Gates family. The current CEO is Brian Gates III.
