Proteus AG is a megacorporation headquartered on the island of Helgoland, AGS. It conducts research in biotechnology, naval building, undersea drilling, and aerospace. It regrouped its laboratories, shipyard and launching pad within marine arcologies (usually called "arkoblocks") in the North Sea, Sea of Japan and off South and North American coasts.
