[edit] Exchange Rate

Why was the canon reference of 500 pesos = 1 ¥ removed? --msde 19:14, 14 Oct 2004 (Eastern Daylight Time)

It is still present under the Economy header, along with some needed explanations about it. Aztlan (and Aztechnology) says that 500 peso worth 1¥. But practically, they put restrictions on exchanges with two classes of peso, they wouldn't be able to sustain that rate on their whole monetary mass. Converting the GDP from peso to nuyen simply won't give the right value to compare to other countries'. It's a situation very similar to Chinese yuan IRL. --Nath 20:43, 14 Oct 2004 (Eastern Daylight Time)

[edit] Border dispute

NEITHER COLOMBIA NOR VENEZUELA, PANAMA, COSTA RICA BELONG TO AZTLAN, CORRECTIONS WERE MADE.

AZTLANS STRETCHES FROM THE AMERICAN SOUTH WEST, TO NICARAGUA AND IT ENDS IN THE COSTA RICAN BORDER.

Can anyone verify this claim? The "all caps" looks a bit annoying as well and should probably be removed. I guess the only way to find out the canon "truth" is to delve into the Aztlan sourcebook, which I don't have near me at the moment.

I don't know where he's getting his sources but...

The Aztlan sourcebook contains maps of the whole area, but SoLA will update them slightly. Aztlan has swallowed Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador; Costa Rica and Panama wholesale. It also controls the northern parts of Colombia (the rest is Amazonian except for a few remaining territories around Bogota which are what is nominally left of Colombia) and some of northern Venezuela including Lake Maracaibo iirc - the Andes pretty much mark the border. Sources are currently divided among the Aztlan sb and the Underworld sb (Ghost Cartel chapter) - SoLA will bring them together.

BTW - The rest of Venezuela has been annexed by Amazonia except for Caracas. The Panama Canal Zone is under Corp Court control and has been for a while.

Updated the Geography section to reflect the borders as of the Aztlan Sourcebook (2056). I will have to look around in other sourcebooks for more up to date information, but indeed, Panama, some of Venezuela, and Colombia have been swallowed by Aztlan.
