Talk:Judaism

From Sixth World Wiki

There needs to be more Shadowrun information in here. It's mostly stuff that looks like it was cut and paste from a textbook. --Hahnsoo 16:41, 6 Mar 2005 (EST)

Resources would be great. (The Laughing Man 22:44, 22 January 2007 (EST))

Where did all that shadowtalk come from? More non-canon stuff? --15:06, 2 February 2007 (EST)

I'm the one who did the shadowtalk; I'm Jewish and I figured that it would be a decent start, short of rewriting the most of the article; remove it if you like; I still plan on cleaning up the article over the next few months-- Bibliophile20 3:31, 24 March 2007 (EST)

Very nice work with the shadowtalk, Bibliophile20. (The Laughing Man 08:13, 24 March 2007 (EST))

If the ShadowTalk (or any other material) is non-canon, it should be removed; the Sixth World Wiki is not an in-character resource. --AdamJury 19:18, 24 March 2007 (EST)

AdamJury: Fair enough--I'm still working on a full and cleaned up article giving an overview of history, beliefs, religion and culture and then a final section of Judaism in the Sixth World. Most of it is going to come from Street Magic, but with a few minor modifications; as my shadowtalk pointed out, saving a life takes precedence over the laws of the Sabbath, so not only would a Jewish magician be allowed to use healing magic on the Sabbath, he actually would be required to do so. Oh, and Laughing Man? Thanks. --Bibliophile20 8:37, March 26 2007 (EST)

[edit] Street Magic information

The table of contents for FanPro's Street Magic lists Judaism on page 16 and the Qabbalistic tradition on page 40. Can someone with the book check those for specifically Shadowrun related information? --SparqMan 18:15, 26 March 2007 (EST)
