Talk:Kyoto (unofficial)

The guideline I'm trying to enforce (and I know I haven't done it too well myself) is that if there's a Kyoto (submitted) page, there should also be a Kyoto page. Pages should link to the main Kyoto page and not the (submitted) entry when possible, so that people see the canon version, unless they are interdependent (submitted) entries. The canon version should have links to the (submitted) versions. I apologize if it looks like I'm undoing work. I also need to go back and fix Portland and Guam, as I was still working out this guideline in my head. --msde 19:36, 24 Sep 2004 (Eastern Daylight Time)

Are you creating a new Kyoto (submitted) to go alongside the official Kyoto? Or are you moving the current Kyoto entry to Kyoto (submitted)? If it's the latter, please move the page instead of creating a copy of it. --msde 19:43, 24 Sep 2004 (Eastern Daylight Time)

Since most of the Kyoto entry was original submitted material, I was moving it to the Kyoto (submitted) anyway. I got no problem with that the (submitted) tagged entries, as long as someone can find a link to it. In other news, I'm going to try and get Fatcat's permission to reprint the local sourcebook material of his JIS project webpage.--YoungFreud 19:48, 24 Sep 2004 (Eastern Daylight Time)
Oh, I understand now. I'm going to turn Kyoto into a redirect then. Also, check out Renaming (moving) a page and Redirect when you have a chance.--msde 19:49, 24 Sep 2004 (Eastern Daylight Time)
