I wouldn't exactly consider Dunk leaving the jewel to Lofwyr a sign of respect. He went and bypassed draconic tradition with this and put Lofwyr into an extremely uncomfortable position.--GaldirEonai 05:49, 11 March 2008 (EDT)

I think Dunkelzahn respected Lofwyr as one of the most powerful and influencial dragons around next to himself and, even though he didn't agree with Lofwyr's priorities, honored that respect with the memory of dragonkind.
